Senior 3D Designer
The role
You will own the dimensional and motion craft of our client work: interactive product simulations, abstract UI motion graphics, and 3D scenes that make client products legible and desirable. Coxswain sells clarity and taste. In practice, a large part of that is motion and dimension used with restraint, in service of a commercial story. You will be the person who makes our websites feel alive without ever letting them feel busy.
What you will do
- Concept and build 3D and motion work for client websites and launch assets
- Design interactive product simulations that explain what a product does in seconds
- Prototype in Spline, Blender, or Three.js and ship with GSAP, Rive, and Lottie
- Set and hold performance budgets so craft never costs conversion
- Shape art direction with the founder and carry it through to shipped work
- Build reusable motion systems the studio can deploy across engagements
What we are looking for
- Five or more years in 3D, motion, or interactive design with shipped web work in the portfolio
- Strong Blender or Cinema 4D, plus working fluency in Spline or Three.js
- Real understanding of motion principles: timing, weight, restraint
- Sensitivity to typography and layout, not just dimension
- Comfort in a small senior team where your work goes live, with your name near it
Helpful, not required
- Rive or Lottie production pipelines
- Shader literacy
- Studio or agency background serving B2B and technical clients

New Business & Relationships Manager
The role
You will own the Coxswain pipeline: finding founder-led companies that need a sharper commercial surface, opening conversations warmly, and keeping relationships alive over time. Our sales motion is observation-led and low pressure. We tell founders, specifically and usefully, what their current surface is underselling. Your job is to run that motion with care and keep the studio's standards in every touchpoint.
What you will do
- Build and maintain a prospect list of founder-led companies that fit our criteria
- Write warm, specific outreach in the studio's voice, never volume spam
- Qualify enquiries against fit, budget, and decision speed
- Prepare scoping calls with useful context so the founder's time lands well
- Develop relationships with VCs, accelerators, and adjacent agencies who refer work
- Keep the pipeline honest and feed market signal back into positioning
What we are looking for
- Three or more years in B2B services, agency, or studio business development
- Excellent written English. Most of this job is judgement expressed in short messages
- A consultative style: comfortable saying a prospect is not a fit
- Ease with founders, operators, and investors
- Organised enough to run a pipeline single-handedly
Helpful, not required
- A network in the startup or venture ecosystem
- Brand and design literacy
- Exposure to private markets, SaaS, or technical products
